How to Request Data Deletion

Follow these steps to request deletion of your personal data:

  • Specific data you want deleted (if targeting specific information)

Processing Timeline

After receiving your request, we will:

  • Within 24 hours: Send an acknowledgment of receipt
  • Within 3-5 business days: Verify your identity and review your request
  • Within 30 days: Process your deletion request and notify you of completion
  • Complex requests: May take up to 90 days with periodic updates

What Happens After Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

  • Your personal information will be permanently removed from our active systems
  • You will receive a confirmation email stating what data was deleted
  • Backup copies will be deleted within 90 days in accordance with our retention policy
  • Any cached or archived data will be removed during our next cleanup cycle
  • You will no longer be able to access your account or associated services

Important: Data deletion is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any information you may need before submitting your deletion request.

Institution Account Considerations

For institutional accounts (schools and educational institutions):

  • Deletion requests must be submitted by an authorized administrator
  • We may need additional verification for institutional accounts
  • Deletion of certain data may affect other users within the institution
  • Some data may need to be transferred to a designated institutional administrator
  • Contractual and legal obligations may require extended retention periods
  • We will coordinate with the institution to minimize disruption to services

Alternative: Partial Deletion

Instead of complete deletion, you may choose to:
